Overview

Welcome to Project Rou. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Project Rou. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. General Conditions & Eligibility

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in Singapore. Our products are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Resale of our baked goods or spreads without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

2. Accuracy of Products & Allergens

  • Handcrafted Nature: We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, as our items are handcrafted, slight variations in color, shape, and finish may occur.

  • Allergen Warning: Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, and eggs. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. It is the customer's responsibility to review ingredient lists or contact us at hello@projectrou.com regarding sensitivities.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. Since our items are made-to-order, your order is only confirmed once payment is received and processed.

  • Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

4. Shipping & Local Delivery (Singapore Only)

  • Local Service: We only provide delivery within mainland Singapore.

  • Delivery Estimates: While we strive to meet requested delivery slots, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or unforeseen traffic/weather conditions.

  • Recipient Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the order. Due to the perishable nature of food, if a delivery fails and the item must be returned to us or discarded, no refund will be issued. Redelivery will incur a new delivery fee.

5. Refund & Return Policy

Your purchases are subject to return or exchange solely in accordance with our Refund Policy. As stated, perishable food items and made-to-order goods are generally non-refundable.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Project Rou shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the consumption of our products if they have been stored incorrectly or consumed past their recommended "best before" date. Please refer to our storage instructions provided with your order.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including photos of our bakes, logos, and descriptions, are the property of Project Rou. You may not reproduce or use any of our materials for commercial purposes without our express permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
